I liked Lynn's under-his-breath remark in the third panel, & the sense of party/strobe lighting in the last.
I heard an interesting news story about small towns which got me thinking of the exciting potential of your location, though it may not be in directions you'd like to go: kids wanting to get of the small town when they graduate ... keeping the band together if one member is recruited by a more well-known outfit .. does Lynn develop superpowers but not want to join with that "lame" band?
I'm glad you're getting this work into finished form; I'm enjoying watching it unfold!

There aren't any plans for Lynn to develop super-powers. He will be one of the "normal" people in the series, but hopefully not boring.
